Those participating in this program will explore the history of the Shanghai Jews through engaging lectures, and visits to important sites and museums to gain a deeper understanding and engage with what they are learning. Included in the program is a visit to the Shanghai Museum, an excursion to Nanjing, films, a guest lecture and more. Note: This registration is for participants who do not want credit for completing the program. Those seeking credit should use this page to begin an application to participate for credit.
The program will begin on July 16, 2017 - August 6, 2017. Participants must arrive by July 16, so participants should plan to depart the US on July 15, 2017.

Participants should also budget for personal expenses. The estimate for spending money will vary greatly depending on personal spending habits. This would include personal items, additional personal travel, restaurant meals, shopping, and other activities such as going to movies, concerts, etc. This estimate found in the budget sheet is based on average spending and participants should estimate for themselves based on their individual spending habits.

Passports need to be valid for at least six months past the program’s end date. As part of the registration, participants must upload a copy of a valid passport, or a receipt or similar proof that they have submitted a passport application.
